California Gourmet Pistachios crafted with Himalayan Pink Salt  •  855-535-1500

Come Rain or Shine!

It actually does rain in California, The Golden State, contrary to the song lyrics. The Porterville Airport measured 0.78 inch of rainfall today that resulted in full fields. The advantage of rainfall is irrigation pumps turned off today. Pistachio trees are a desert plant, preferring dry hot summer conditions. ARO Pistachio trees are mature so heavy rain is not a challenge. We irrigate for optimum results. The H2O is extra hydration as trees are budding---leaves on the female, and buds on the males. Rainfall balanced with California sunshine helps the process of photosynthesis, ripening, and opening (splitting) the pistachio nuts. What better snack for dark and stormy days (and nights) than Gourmet Colossal Pistachios crafted with Himalayan Pink Salt? :)
